Fernando Monter-Aztatzi of New Haven was stopped for allegedly speeding around 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 21, on Merwin Avenue, near Anderson Avenue, said the Milford Police.
During the stop, officers noticed that Monter-Aztatzi was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and marijuana, police said.
Police said refused to provide a breath or urine sample. During a search, officers found less than a half-ounce of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
He was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating an unregistered vehicle, traveling unreasonably fast, possession of less than half-ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Monter-Aztatzi was released on $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 20.
